In March 2021, Coors Light encountered a significant challenge. Without official sponsorship and lacking TV media presence, how could we ensure the brand's visibility on game days and convert consumers during the nation's premier basketball competition, March Madness?

We devised a brilliant strategy to help fans break away from their hectic routines and catch all the action. Leveraging an underutilized resource—one of the most popular programs since the pandemic's onset, Microsoft Teams—we crafted a game plan.

Teaming up with Buffalo Wild Wings, we provided customers with a unique opportunity to escape their busy work schedules and immerse themselves in the excitement of March Madness. By strategically blocking their calendars and incorporating special deals within virtual meetings, we brought the tournament experience directly to them.
